I took some liberties with the instrument placing. I don't like live surround mixes with the band in front of you and the audience behind you. I want to be `involved' with the music, as I think you'd like to be. So I've placed Dennis Davis on drums spread across all the speakers, along with George Murray in the center on bass (with some subwoofer help for the kick drums and the bass). Carlos Alomar's stereo guitar is spread between the front speakers (he was a pioneer of this sound). Sean Mayes on keyboards is left/front, and a little to the left side center, playing piano mostly and some extra keyboards. Simon House on electric violin has his own domain in the left/rear. So does Roger Powell on keyboards, but occupying the right/rear speaker. Adrian Belew's milieu is right/front. The backing singers, which were also Carlos, George and Adrian, are spread across the front speakers. David is front/middle. I've tried to place him in your lap, something you can't have in a concert hall! When he plays the Chamberlain keyboard he appears behind you. Although most of the reverb is the natural hall, I've added some special effects that were in the front of the house mix at the time.
